Building Information Modeling

BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals and their clients the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.

Urban design and planning

Understanding of both planning rules and what makes for successful urban contexts. Design for optimization at a scale larger than just individual buildings, so that improved amenity for all parties is achieved, within a development and beyond.

3D visualizations and fly-throughs

Computer rendered still images, animations and dynamic user-navigable 3D models, all tuned to sensitively portray design intent, assist with marketing, and help clients fully appreciate what they will be getting ahead of time – avoiding potentially expensive regrets later.

Building plans and specifications

Preparation of highly detailed plans, elevations, cross sections, construction details and other views, and comprehensive written specifications, to ensure the client’s intentions are fully captured and are what actually gets consented and built. Investing in thoroughness and rigour here will typically save many, many thousands of dollars later on.

Building and resource consents

Preparing and lodging the detailed documentation required to demonstrate compliance with building and planning legislation.
